Plasma is spun without anticoagulant and heated so its albumin sets into a gel, then recombined with liquid platelet-rich fibrin and injected the same visit. The effect typically holds 3 to 6 months. PRF gel is not an FDA-approved or FDA-cleared dermal filler.
Most want softening without a synthetic gel. Your plasma is heated to about 75 degrees Celsius for ten minutes; the albumin denatures and sets on cooling.

Anticoagulant-free collection tubes — The absent anticoagulant is the defining difference between PRF and PRP, though spin force, spin time and activation differ as well. Tube chemistry and surface change the yield.
Programmable clinical centrifuge — Speed, rotor geometry and duration are fixed in our written protocol and not adjusted per patient.
Dry heating block or PRF heating unit — Time and temperature determine gel firmness. This step is what separates PRF gel from ordinary liquid PRF.
Liquid PRF (i-PRF), unheated — The unheated fraction is the biologically active part. Heat would denature the proteins it carries.
Blunt-tip cannula, 22G to 25G — Cannula use reduces but does not eliminate the risk of vascular injury. Any injectable volumizer carries that risk.
Hyaluronic acid filler (not used in this treatment) — Hyaluronic acid can be dissolved with hyaluronidase. PRF gel cannot, because there is nothing for the enzyme to act on.
